Dear Peter,
It´s been a while now since you transitioned but I still think of you often. Your big heart and big hugs, our mutual challenges with growing up. You made me laugh so hard and were always down for a walk and a toke. It was so nice having your company. Thank you for being my study buddy and friend at SJSU. Thank you for checking in on me when things were hard & for coming to me when they were hard for you, too. I love you. I wish I had been able to hold more for you. I hope your spirit is resting sweetly. May we meet again.
With love,
Keri

Peter blessed my son Alex with his friendship while at Cardinal Newman, and Alex was with Peter the night his beloved mother passed away. May Peter rest peacefully in the arms of his mother and the Lord; and peace be with you as well. We will always remember Peter's sweet spirit. Dana Unruh

Mike,
I pray that God would bring you comfort during this time. I pray the God of 1 Kings ch.19 would comfort you. Even Elijah himself thought he could not handle this life, so he laid down and prayed that he might die in the middle of the desert. Instead of death, God gave Elijah an angel to comfort him and feed him. I pray that in this time, that God would bring you comfort.
And never forget that Christ is the victor over death.

Pete, I still remember the first day when I met you in Advanced Mechanic. You sat next to me; you started talking to me; we went to the library starting our first study session. We bump heads sometime, but it didn't stop you to say "Hi, how's it going?" whenever you sees me. I still remember when we were playing video games at your place, watching Netflix, you making Bob Patterson's impression, and drinking with Steven. I still remember when we went to Peanut after final with Steven and Matt; I still remember when we went to Smoke Eaters; I still remember when we went to Flames; I still remember when we were playing foosball; I still remember... I still remember... so vividly.

The memories that we all live on. will remain in our heart. Thank you.

Love and sympathies to you and your family. I was blessed with the opportunity to get to know Peter, and share many conversations about our mutual love for rugby in high school. He was wonderful, witty and had a remarkable sense of humor. Thinking of you and your family.

I will always remember our epic Soul Calibur tournaments we had at the apartment. I remember you explaining to me your hypotheses of all the unexplained phenomena in Physics. I remember how fascinated you were with Bob Ross' "The Joy of Painting". Thank you for these and many other memories.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Peter and I worked well together in 4H and he always made be happy. One moment I'd be laughing and the next moment I'd be shaking my head. I loved that about him. We all will miss him. I pray for you and the family to be comforted by the Great Comforter.

I always enjoyed working with Peter in 4-H. His enthusiasm and sense of humor always brought a smile to my face (okay, once in a while I had to tell him to quiet down). Thinking of you Mike, Julie, and Lynsey.

Rest in peace my dear friend Peter Brookfield, your passing leaves the world a little sadder, a little emptier, a little less fun. I wish I could have had at least a last beer with you and your craziness. I will never forget our little Foosball games and our ridiculous name callings (me: "John, Michael, David?", you: "Jose, Fernando, Jesus?"). Peace be with you wherever you are now.
