ERNEST ALEXANDER MCDOWELL March 9, 1929 - September 20, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his loving wife Coreen of 62 years, children; Caroline (Dave), Ernie (Cindy), Lori (Bob); grandchildren; Lisa (Stan), Brett (Amy), Niki (Andrew), Blake (Jessica), Kyle (Natalie), great grandchildren; Joee, Joshawa, Olivia, Taylor, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, all eight siblings, his father-in-law, and mother-in-law, sisters and brothers-in-law Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1:00pm with a viewing to begin at 12:00 noon at Assman's Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Children's Hospital.
