My Dear Esther I was very saddened and continue to be from hearing of John's passing .I have the greatest memories of knowing your Mom (remembering her very well in the train ride to Tumbler Ridge back when ? on the electrified train). I believe Your Aunt Alice was along also?, visiting from the U. S.). Myles and your Dad were such great friends to have known, also. I enjoyed so much in visiting you and your family and hearing the many stories of Giscome,Newlands,Shelley, Ferndale, etc. I greatly appreciated retrieving from a ditch covered with blackberry bushes, rotting debris, etc.1926 Ford Model T parts which I recycled for my restored stock Runabout (2 door roadster), which I still have to learn to drive! I am sure you recall as I do the infamous WRRA dances @ Giscome Elementary ? We were just by opportunity, a part of that awesome/historic School District 57's rural school memoirs, along with so many other community members, unfortunately some have passed on. My very special condolences to you Esther. Take care, Carry on diligently as in the past. Bill Tuomi & Elke Krueger
