Marjorie Mueller Obituary
MARJORIE MUELLER Born on August 28, 1919 passed away peacefully on August 13, 2009 surrounded by her family. Our minds are eased knowing that Marjorie is now reunited with her dear husband Paul who predeceased her in August 1997. Marjorie is survived by her caring and devoted daughters and sons-in-law: Elenore (Bob) Dondale, Merle (Lorne) Allen. "Ganny" is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren; sisters: Ivy, Julia (John), Gladys and brothers: Oliver and Arnie; numerous nieces, nephews and many, many dear friends. Marjorie was born in Lafond, AB. In 1921 when Marjorie was only 2 years old her parents moved her and their family to Longworth, BC. It was there that she spent her happy childhood and where she eventually met the love of her life, Paul. They were married in 1938 in Longworth. Marjorie became the perfect wife, always catering to Paul's every need and doing so with pride and satisfaction. They built their home on their quarter section and farmed for many years. In 1940 Ell was born and almost exactly 3 years later Merle arrived. Marjorie was kept busy taking care of the girls and the farm while Paul was away working. In 1956 they bought the house in Prince George and for many years divided their time between the homestead and town. Marjorie enjoyed knitting, baking, gardening and visiting. Marjorie made friends wherever she was, always the perfect hostess inviting all who stopped at her door in for refreshments or a meal. Marjorie's greatest joy was her family which grew to 5 generations. She loved when everyone was able to get together to celebrate special events and occasions. The family gives special thanks to Doctor Kelly and will never forget the loving care Marjorie received from the Hospice House "family". Funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Assman's Funeral Chapel at 1:00pm. After the graveside service there will be a tea at the Seniors Activity Center, 425 Brunswick Street. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Prince George Hospice House. "Your legacy of love that will last forever"
