Andrew Reimneitz Obituary

REIMNEITZ , Andrew, 79, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at home with his loving family at his side. Andy fought a courageous battle against cancer. Our family is so very thankful for the wonderful care and support we had from Dr. Chris Kibonge and Dr. Denise McLeod. Thanks also to Judy Bala and her team of nurses and caregivers from CBI who so kindly took care of all of us during this difficult time. Extended thanks to our dear Pharmacist, Claudia Wagner at Pharmasave. To all our friends please know your thoughtful messages and beautiful prayers warmed our hearts daily and we thank you so much. Andy is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Eleanor (nee Hutton), his loving children: Son Randall (Roxanne), daughter Patricia Bolen (Blaine), dear brother Rosaire (Adele), dear brother-in-law Ross Shepley, Papa's pride and joy his 7 grandchildren and 6 great grand babies, numerous nieces & nephews. Predeceased by son Rick, parents Emile and Rose Reimneitz, six sisters Salonge Riiou, Florida Purdy, Theresa Thelland, Cecile Shepley, Helen Winter, Jean'Darc Reimneitz, two brothers; Ernest Reimneitz and Jules Reimneitz, grandson Blaine Jr. As requested, there will be no service. Cremation January 5th 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations to Andy's favorite charity "Children's Hospital" would be appreciated.

I am so sorry for your loss. Andy was a great man he was funny and caring and sure loved his kids and wife. His wonderful voice will be heard singing in heaven with the angels. I will remember him holding a fishing rod and sing to the fish. Rest in peace

Another good man gone too soon....I will always remember his infectious giggle & laughter whenever we'd get together and the boys sat around and played music...I know he & Paul thoroughly enjoyed those times spent together...My last memory of Andy is when we went to Mesa, AZ in January 2013 and spend time at Andy & Eleanor's home and going to their club there...precious memories...RIP dear Andy..my sincere condolences to Eleanor and all the family....
