David Michael Kidd August 12, 1959 - October 20, 2017 It is with great sadness and shock that we announce the passing of my big brother Dave Kidd at the age of 58 after a strong, courageous short battle with a rare form of cancer. Dave is survived by his lil brother Dan(Melody) Kidd, beloved nieces Latika and McKenna, long time family friend Sis Sadie(Curt) Vagt, his bestest friend Sheila Jensen, as well as many family and friends near and far. Predeceased by his father Michael Kidd in 1989, and Mother Beryl Kidd in 2001. Dave was an avid airshow enthusiast chasing airshows throughout his lifetime and catching most of them. Flying was his life's passion, as an accomplished pilot himself for many years he understood what that freedom meant but NASCAR was a close second. Dave spent his career with the City of Prince George as a heavy equipment operator. A very special thank you to the wonderful nurses and staff at the Prince George Hospice House and UHNBC. A celebration of life to be held on November 11 at 8 pm at Nelly's in the banquet room. In lieu of flowers please make a donation too the Canadian cancer society or the Prince George Rotary Hospice House. You slipped the surly bonds of Earth big brother, enjoy your flight.
