OTHA TAYLOR Obituary
He was born Dec. 28, 1930, to the late Isabell Elizabeth Taylor Byrd and George Taylor Sr. Otha attended Kingland Elementary. He later graduated from Carver High School, earning his GED in 1987.
He joined Bethesda Bibleway Church, Petersburg, in the year of 1957. He was employed in Chesterfield County until he retired in 1967.
Otha was preceded in death by his sisters, Daisy Square, Dorothy Charity, and brother, Wallace Taylor.
Mr. Taylor leaves to cherish his memories: two brothers, Mack Taylor of Hopewell and George Taylor Jr. (Leona) of Fishersville, Va; sister, Ida C. Blackwell (Edward) of Chesterfield; and sister-in-law, Mary Taylor; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service for Mr. Otha Lee Taylor will be held noon Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Zion Hill Temple of Prayer, 3107 Western St., Hopewell.
Interment to follow at Moore's Cemetery, Chester, Va. A wake will be held at the church from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014.
