Ben, Barbara and Peter:

One behalf of Nancy, Michael, Ami and me, we extend our sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad. He was quite a man. I remember meeting him years ago when I was a child at the Alpine, and I had the pleasure of seeing him often at both the Alpine and Aurora Clubs as the years passed. Your Dad, along with my father (91 in September)are among the last of their breed - educated, loyal to their country, selfless and family oriented. They established the best platform on which to model our own lives.

To Ben Jr., Barbara, Peter, and your families. I will always have fond memories of your father as he and your entire family were so much a part of my childhood on East Hill Drive in Cranston. When my father, brother Robert, and I moved there in the mid 1950s, there were only a handful of newly built homes on the street. As the years passed and the neighborhood grew, we spent much time interacting with your family. Our fathers shared history as founders of the Alpine Country Club as well as lively conversations about card games, politics, and the Red Sox - all from across the street from their respective yards as they watered their lawns! The door of the Cerilli home was always open to my family, and I will never forget the kindness shown to us by your father and your mother. May all your departed loved ones rest in eternal peace.
