Grills, Chandler R. T.
Chandler Rose Thompson Grills tragically passed away during the evening of January 2, 2021 at the age of 26. Chandler was taken from the world we know by a stroke from an unidentified blood clotting disorder.
She was a vibrant and radiant light... a beloved force in this world, and our lives will continue to be moved by her forever. She was unique and passionate and kind, and the lives of those she touched were changed for the better, more than we will ever comprehend. She taught us to be raw, she taught us to be real, she taught us to be unapologetic. No words can match her. She is unforgettable. She was a passionate artist, a graduate of the Lee Strasberg Conservatory, and she held a BFA in Acting from NYU Tisch. When she was acting, she did not portray characters, she became them. She is an inspiration to us as an artist, but more importantly as the powerful and multifaceted woman she was. Her artistic, beautiful, passionate soul is with us forever. We love you forever Chandler.
She was the beloved daughter of Michael and Laurie Grills of Ashaway and sister of Benjamin M.S. Grills and wife Katie, Anne D. Grills, Adam R.S. Grills and Peter R.S. Grills, all also of Ashaway. Chandler also leaves her aunts, uncles and cousins.
