Jack, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Mom, please convey my sympathy to Patty, Bitsey, Dan and Mary and the rest of your family. I am sending you hugs, love and prayers to you all. Your Mom was a wonderful, smart, determined, and very strong one of a kind woman. I always admired her and loved her, and had wonderful memories with her, even though I had not seen her for a while. Know that your Mom will always be with you in your heart. RIP dear Peggy.❤

Our deepest condolences from the Yamzon family. Peggy was a great friend of my parents, Dot and Ricky. Many fond memories of visiting at her house and Marco the dog, the seabees and navy wives. Last time I spoke with her was at my mom's wake 2 years ago. She was such a wonderful person and I am very happy to have known her. She will be missed!!!
With our deepest sympathy,

I worked with Peg at the Civilian Personnel Department at NAS Quonset Point back in the late 60's until the base closed.
She was always talkative , opinionated and cheerful. She was well liked and will be missed by everyone who knew her but especially by her family. My deepest condolences.

I remember your mother fondly both as a friend of my mother and as my first Little League coach. I have often wondered why my mother drove me "all the way to Davisville" for LL when we lived within walking distance of the Wickford LL field. I am sure it was because your mother was coaching in Davisville. I was very happy to see your mother again after so many years at my 60th birthday party in 2010.

Those Navy Wives were a special breed and essentially ran the household while the men were away. We pretty much grew up in a well managed, matriarchal society and benefited from it.
