Time does seem to fly by..it doesn't seem like a year has passed. I often think of Di and they are pleasant thoughts of her sitting at the beach with the sun on her face, or walking through the woods with Blackie or feeding the damm squirrels!!! She loved all of those things. I too, like the rest of you, miss her but feel she now has the peace that she wanted and she is probably feeding all the animals up above!!! Many nice memories of good times and that is what helps me to deal with her loss!

Because she loved animals and nature, I think of my sister every time I hear the birds sing or when there is a soft rain. Thank you to everyone that kept her memory dear to their hearts.

I will always be grateful to Dianne.
When I first got into recovery, she was my "Hero" and I wanted to be just like her when I finally grew up.
So thank you my friend.
And like Terry, I too remember working in your house. We did have some fun, didn't we?
You will be missed by many.
My sympathy goes out to your family.

I was very sadden to hear the news of you leaving, it was a shock, but I know Dianne, you'll be forever remembered, all the good times, sad times but most of all I will be so ever greatful, for when you took me under your wing in 1990 and but for the Grace Of God I'm still sober. Thank you, I love you and will miss you, Happy Birthday Love ya Debra

Di, I was sadden to hear about you going on to your maker so early in your life. When I was told I sat and thought about the time you got the house and all the work that had to be done on it. All the laughter and fooling around we did for weeks. But we got the job done. You were so proud and we were proud for you. You had a dream and it came true. That's what life is all about. Caring, Shearing, Laughter, fun, friends, family and LOVE. Di, you were loved my many and I am sure you knew who they were. I will miss you. But I also know you went home to some of your family members. You will be missed by many. Your are a special lady. I will see you later. love Terrie P

My Sister Dianne

Some times we were best friends forever, other times just sisters that were always mad at each other. I will miss that infectious smile and laughter. I will remember all the fun and good times. I will remember how the three of us grew up. Climbing trees, playing in the woods, hunting frogs, fishing and all the other stuff little tomboys do. Then as we grew older, we hung out at Scarborough and spent time at the Cape with Dad. We would lay out in the sun for entire weekends--even if it was just in the back yard. You are now in that warm safe place with golden sunshine and warm ocean breezes. You are barefoot in the sand walking hand and hand with Mom & Dad. I will always love you. I will always remember you. I will miss you.

Love Kat

I was very saddened with hearing about the sudden passing of my old friend Dianne. I will remember her in better times. She was someone who helped many, many people over the years….in her job as a director of an agency working tirelessly to find jobs for less fortunate people as well as being a tough and sensitive sponsor for many new “pigeons”. She truly enjoyed the different seasons of the year, outdoors, sunshine, ocean and woods and being in touch with nature…birds, ducks, dogs, and cats would easily approach her. She had a deep spiritual side and she really loved and appreciated her connections with Native Americans…she decorated her home with a lot of their crafts and pictures that were very precious to her. Dianne was a very unique individual…a gentle soul who lived simply, was independent, stubborn at times and definitely her own person!

A favorite song of hers that seems appropriate now was The Drifters… Up on the Roof is as peaceful as can be… I found a paradise that’s trouble proof…Up on the Roof…

Dianne touched the lives of many people. I wish I could have been there to help her...I do believe that she is now at peace in paradise Up on the Roof.

My sincere sympathies to Kathy, Louise and Dianne's dedicated old friends.

My memories of Dianne are of great joy and many great times, I live and Florida and just learned of her death and still haven't grasped it fully. I am saddened that I wasn't there for her at the time she may have needed me, my sympathies go out to her sisters and I hope I talk to you soon. I will always love you
