Fayetteville - Lloyd E. Chilcote, 81, passed away on July 11, 2018 at his home in Fayetteville, PA of natural causes. Born in Hustontown, PA, on April 29, 1937, he was a son of the late Charles and Vada Mae Kelso Chilcote.

Lloyd graduated from Hustontown High School in 1955. He retired from James River in 1999 and attended Grand Point Church in Chambersburg, PA.

Lloyd enjoyed hunting, restoring vintage vehicles, collecting old toys & antique cars, yardwork, attending his Hustontown class reunions, and setting up tools & toys for flea markets. Lloyd was a member of Keystone Studebaker Drivers Club.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Joan Stevens Chilcote. Four sons, Douglas (Becky), Jeffrey (Karen), David (Jean), and Nathan (Penny) Chilcote. Eight grandchildren, Benjamin (Autumn) Chilcote, Bethany (Cameron) Mellott, Adam, Katarina, & Brenden Chilcote, Shawn (Shelly) Chilcote, Holly Hallett, Heather (Brian) Scott, 6 great grandchildren, and "Sweetie" his beloved cat. Brothers, Jerry (Evelyn) Chilcote, Michael (Sandy) Chilcote, and a sister, Jane (Dan) Kuhn. Lloyd was preceded in death by brothers, Eugene & Paul Chilcote.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM July 14, 2018 at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg, with Pastor Lawrence Metzler officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg.

Viewing 6 to 9 PM Friday at the funeral home.
