Leslie W. Carbaugh Leslie William "Lucky" Carbaugh, 68, of Shippensburg, went home to be with his Lord on June 25, 2014, at West Shore Hospital in Mechanicsburg. He was born April 9, 1946, in Hagerstown, MD to Lloyd and Cora (Richardson) Carbaugh. He was married to Barbara Barr Carbaugh on Dec. 30, 1983. Leslie had last worked at Mack Truck prior to his disability. He was a member of Believers Fellowship in Christ Church of God in Greencastle. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing gospel music, and had been the lead in the Gospel Music Band named Unity Gospel Heirs. He also enjoyed target shooting. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Barr Carbaugh of Shippensburg and their five children: William E. (husband of Penny) Carbaugh of Greencastle, Tina (wife of Jim) Metcalf of Greencastle, Edward S. (husband of Kim) Leydig of Greencastle, Lorena Carbaugh of Waynesboro, and Kenneth B. (husband of Angela) Leydig of Greencastle. He has 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is survived by two brothers: Lloyd Lee and Raymond E. Carbaugh of Mercersburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: John, Paul and Guy Carbaugh. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., with the Reverends Pam Lynch and Ted Henson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, PA will be handling the arrangements.
