Nov. 3, 1973 - April 13, 2021 Joseph (Joe) Anthony Pirozzi passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on April 13, 2021. Joe was born to Vince and Joyce Pirozzi on November 3, 1973 in San Pedro, CA. Joe had special needs and attended Park Western Elementary School, Wilmington Jr. High School and San Pedro High School, where he was involved in their Special Ed Programs. Joe kept busy throughout his years; he attended CCD at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and was a part of their "Going Out Group", he was part of the MODD (More Opportunity for the Developmental Delayed) Program at Harbor College for over 25+ years and he attended SVS (Social Vocational Services) in Lomita, for the past 20 years. Joe had many amazing qualities, but the one that stands out the most was his love for his family, family was everything to him. He also loved listening to music, watching WWE WrestleMania, Dodger games and his go-to tv shows especially during covid were "Emergency" and "One Adam 12". He was a pure soul with a heart of gold. Everybody loved Joe, as he touched everyone around him. He will be missed but never forgotten and forever be in our hearts. He leaves behind his loving parents, Vince and Joyce Pirozzi, his brother Vince (Cindy) Pirozzi, his sister Lisa (Kevin) Homaizad, nephews and nieces, Kevin Jr., Jessica, and Kameron Homaizad and Michael and Kara Pirozzi, his grandmother, Helen Gant, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Wesley Gant and his grandmother, Annie Pirozzi. Please sign the guestbook at mcnerneysmortuary.com.
