December 20, 1931 - April 11, 2021 After a long struggle with dementia, Keith passed away peacefully on April 11, 2021. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and came to Southern California when he was about 14. He graduated from Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, CA in 1949, from Occidental College in 1953 and after a stint in the Air Force, from USC School of Dentistry in 1960. He practiced dentistry in Riviera Village for 45 years, retiring in 2005. Keith led an active and varied life which included skiing, water skiing, travel, SCUBA diving, and flying in a private plane in which he was part owner. He loved classical music, and with his wife, Laurie, had season tickets to both the L.A. Philharmonic and the Peninsula Symphony. He was also a classic jazz (Dixieland, New Orleans & Chicago) aficionado, and the couple attended many festivals around California. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Laurie, sons Curt (Lisa) and Craig (Julia) and three grandchildren, Colin, Claudia and Emily. His corny sense of humor will be missed by all. They are all very grateful to the caregivers at Belmont Village, where he lived during the past nine months and the Bristol Hospice team who made his transition much easier. A celebration of Keith's life will be planned by the family at a later date.
