3/22/1926 - 12/19/2020 Marjorie Ann Fenton Garrett passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on December 19, 2020. Marge was 94 and living independently until she fell ill. Marge is survived by her son Mike (Denise) and daughter Patty (Mike), grandchildren Michele, Hayle, Natalie, Nicole and Matt and ten great-grandchildren. She was the youngest of five children of Charles and Edith Fenton. Marge grew up in Ossian, NY. She attended the University of Rochester School of Nursing and earned a BS in Nursing in 1947. She was a member of the Cadet Nurses Corps. After graduation she moved to California where she met her husband Archie H Garrett. They were married on January 1, 1949. She retired from Los Angeles Health and Human Services in 1991. She was a member of the Dolphins, a Torrance Beach walking club, for 30 years where she met many wonderful friends. Due to COVID there will be no services. Ashes will be placed with her husband at a private family ceremony.
