1935 - 2020 It's with great sadness and a heavy heart for the Fortino Family to announce the passing of Michael Fortino on December 20th, 2020. He passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side. Mike was 85 years old at the time of his passing and was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years Petra. Mike is survived by his children and their spouses, Mary & Del Thomas, Teresa & Vince Albano, Joanna & John Basso and Michael & Sandra Fortino. Mike (Pa) also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren all of whom he adored immensely. Mike is also survived by his siblings, Anna, Frank & Pat and Joann & Kathy. Mike was also preceded in death by his second wife Camile (Castelao) Fortino and survived by her sons, Anthony, Joseph, and Robert along with their seven children. Mike will be sorely missed by his immediate & extended family and all who knew him. Due to COVID-19, a private service will be held January 6th at St. Margaret Mary Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. A celebration of life with extended family and friends will be held at a later date.
