Noel T. Palm (91) Noel T. Palm of Manhattan Beach, died on February 7, 2021 after a months-long illness at home, surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his beloved wife Sally (aka Charlie) of 71 years; five children: Marsha (Barney Lubetkin), Vicky (Dave Joswiak), Karen, Brett, and Tod (Cindy Palm); sister Marilyn Steele; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Noel, a native Californian, settled in Manhattan Beach in 1960. His priority was his large and boisterous family which always included a variety of pets. He strongly believed in helping others and contributing to his community. He served on the South Bay Union High School District Board for 16 years and was a founding member of the local medical Free Clinic in 1969. An active member of the MB Community Church, he sang in the choir for many years, served as Church Moderator, and fulfilled other instrumental roles during his 35-year membership. Noel was always physically active. He was a high school track star, avid West Coast surfer and always loved hiking and camping. He and Sally enjoyed overseas travel in their retirement and lived for an adventurous year in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He loved his family, a good beer, and good company. He will be missed and loved always. A memorial service will be scheduled at his church in the future.

We've known Noel for years. Laughed and laughed with him. Had numerous adventures with the Palm family. Noel loved traveling and being with his family. We always felt like an extended family. He will be missed, but remembered.

Noel was a long time friend, and a school board in MB most of the time I was teaching Jr. High. He loved my big school chorus and the plays our Arts Dept. put on for the public. He always supported district teachers! He will be especially missed at MBCC for all the work he did for the church! Rita Koch

I remember Noel Palm from the South Bay Free Clinic.. because of his leadership in the Clinic it went from one store front on Manhattan Beach Blvd to 7 clinics (Now South Bay Family Healthcare) He was a guiding light for so many and he will be missed by all who knew him.
