Timothy Allan Quon, D.D.S., age 67, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Los Angeles, he was active in the Boy Scouts as a youth, and became an Eagle Scout. He attended USC, first earning a B.S. degree with Phi Beta Kappa honors. Having a strong interest in dentistry, he then entered USC's School of Dentistry, graduating with a D.D.S. degree. He settled in the South Bay, where he practiced dentistry for almost 40 years. Dr. Quon and his expert staff took great pride in caring for their patients, and valued the trust placed in them. His family, friends, and patients remember his cool, calm, and relaxed personality. In his free time, he enjoyed travel, hiking, bicycling, photography, museums, music and attending sporting events and concerts. He was an active member of his church, which he considered most important in his life, and where he made many lifelong friendships. After marrying Emily, he enjoyed spending time with her and their sons, Patrick and Russell. Dr. Quon is survived by his wife, Emily; sons, Patrick and Russell; mother, Peggy; brothers, Mike and Jeff; sister, Sherrill; sister-in-law, Kathy; nephews, Ryan and Evan; and many relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Quon. Donations in Dr. Quon's memory may be made to South Bay Presbyterian Church, 2701 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance, CA 90503

I met Tim when he was hired to be one of the dentists in the group where I worked. I had the pleasure of assisting Tim on several occasions when Dr. Willen's was out of the office. He was kind, gentle and had my respect from the first time I met him. RIP Tim. Love, Rita Welch

Dr Quon was my dentist for over 25 years. My 3 kids all were his patients. What a pleasant doctor he was. When my son Anthony was a baby I would take him into the dentist office with me and dr Quon would get him out of the stroller when he would cry and my son would stop crying in his calming arms. My son is now 16 years old, dr Quon was his only dentist. We are so sadden that such a wonderful human being had to leave. Rest In Peace dr Quon. We are going to miss you. Condolences to his kids, wife and all his family.

My love and prayers to Emily, Patrick, Russell and the Quon family. I have known Tim since childhood. Our fathers became best friends in art school, and our families quickly bonded. Tim and I (my parents named me Timothy Allan also) rarely saw each other outside of special occasions including his wedding and his father's 100th birthday. But it never mattered how much time passed by; whenever we'd meet up, Tim treated me like family. I will always remember Tim's kindness, joyful spirit and sincere caring for others. His presence was like a ray off sunshine; his beaming smile and natural warmth just made you fell great.
What a good man. God bless you, Timothy.

My earliest memory may have been at Grandfather Wong's home in Stockton, CA. We were just very small kids. I'm proud that he accomplished so much.
