Rafferty Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Animal Shelter.
She was a retired RN from Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, WI and an Oblate at St. Mary's Monastery Community in Wisconsin. She loved her work with helping and caring for others and she was known for a lifetime of service to God.
Diane had a passion for animals and if there was ever a dog that needed a home she opened her heart and home to care for them. She cared for and loved many animals throughout her lifetime. She was also this way with children. She was able to connect with children and loved playing and learning with them and had fostered children, as well. In the last 7 years of her life, she lived in Moline, IL, and was like a mother/grandmother to her lifelong friend's daughter, Stephanie (and Jake) Kauzlarich, and their 4 children. Diane was part of the family and spent birthdays, holidays, and events with them. She loved and adored all of them like her own and they cherished her love.
Survivors include her mother, Pearl Reupert, WI; brother, Mark Reupert, Milwaukee, WI and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ellsworth Reupert.
