I was in the National Guard for many years with both Alan and Gary. Sadly, I never knew there Dad but I do know that he raised a couple fine, young sons who will carry on his legacy. Deb and I wish to offer our deepest condolences to your entire family on your loss. Rest in peace, Sir.

Dear Janet and Vanderheyden family,

Please accept my condolences for the loss of Alan. I am so sorry for your loss and hope you have lots of love and support during this difficult transition. All of you gave so much love and care to Alan during these past challenging years, and I hope you find comfort knowing that he doesn't have to suffer anymore, as hard as this is.
I have so many wonderful memories of our families living next to each other and doing so much together through the years. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and heart. Love, Kathy Douglas Hebditch
