Kathryn K. (Dubble) Ziegler, 89, of

Bethel, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Penn State St. Joseph Medical


She was the wife of the late Elam H.

Ziegler, who died July 23, 2004, and with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Kathryn, a

daughter of the late John R. and Mary (Kauffman) Dubble, was born at home in Myerstown.

She is survived by three children: Craig E. Ziegler,

husband of Martha Hewson, Lansdale, Jean M., wife of Doug Dussinger, Lititz, and Joel C. Ziegler, husband of

Michelle Salerno-Ziegler, Philadelphia; six grandchildren: Jacqueline Ziegler, Bradley Dussinger, Tim Dussinger, Kate Knox, Henry Ziegler and Rowan Ziegler; and three great-grandchildren: Evan Dussinger, Colette Dussinger and

Dylan Knox.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Knoll and Mildred Forry.

She was a longtime member of Little Swatara Church of the Brethren and was a member of the choir for over 50 years, and was the church organist for many years. She was also the church secretary for 20 years.

She volunteered at the Red Cross office in Lebanon from 1987-1994. She took pride in her vegetable garden,

maintaining it until the time of her death, offering its

bounty to family and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16th, at Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, 31

Rehrersburg Road, Bethel. A viewing will be held from

9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Little Swatara Church Cemetery. Hill Funeral Home,

Rehrersburg, is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, 31 Rehrersburg Road, Bethel, PA 19507.
