I have several good memories of Rev. Schnell and Lorraine at the Smith family reunions but the one that stands out is the time after everyone had left but Sterling and Lorraine and my girlfriend Amy High and I were about to leave but all four of us went over to the swings to talk and swing for awhile to this day Amy and I still fondly recall that moment. Sterling was a great man with a terrific personality and will be missed by many people.

I had the pleasure of meeting him in the store where I work. He was always in a good mood and lots of fun to talk to and full of inspiring stories. I’m happy that I had the opportunity to meet him.
