He was born May 1, 1966 in San Francisco. Tyrone attended school in San Francisco, earned his GED and attended the Santa Fe Indian Art Institute in New Mexico, where he earned his bachelor's degree. Art was Tyrone's life and his wall-sized paintings became his signature to private collectors and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Luwana Quitiquit; brother, Alan Harrison; sisters, Christina Harrison and Suelumatra Castillo; and nieces, Marie Andrade and Elizabeth Davis. He is also survived by his aunts, Patricia Thompson, Cheryl Anderson, Wanda, Denise, Lalaine and Irenia Quitiquit; his uncles, Lawrence Thompson, Marion, Steven, Godfrey, Michael and Robert Quitiquit; cousins, Marion Quitiquit Jr., Meyer Marrufo, Gabriella Nelson, Tracy and Shawn Mease, Mark Domingo, Elaine Palmer; and numerous relatives; his best friend, Carlos Arroyo and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Burney Douglas of San Diego.

Tyrone loved his family, friends and his Pomo culture, and he will be remembered for his humor and his way of sharing and giving. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Robinson Rancheria Cemetery, Mockingbird Lane in Upper Lake.
