Thomas Alessi Obituary

GUILFORD - Thomas C. Alessi, 56, of Guilford, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Meriden on March 27, 1961, a son of the late Albert and Genevieve (Driscoll) Alessi.

He is survived by his children, April Alessi, of Terryville, Amy Alessi, of Cheshire, and Thomas Mark Alessi, of Guilford; his sister, Ann Alessi, of Wallingford; his brother, Mark Alessi, of Florida; his partner, Bridie Bradbury; and his niece, Ashleigh Lynn Alessi. A Wallingford native, he was loved and admired just as he loved and admired so many. His laugh was infectious and his presence could light up the room. On a Sunday he could be found with a tea on the couch watching the game. He was an avid sports lover, and a diehard New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and UConn Huskies fan. He proudly owned and operated Patriot Motors in Wallingford for many years.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Sunday, Nov. 12, from 2 until 5 p.m. Burial will be private in the In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford.
