June Perry
June Perry, 82, of Bristol, wife of the late Victor E. Perry Jr., died on Friday, July 11, 2025 at The Summit of Plantsville after a brief battle with Parkinson's disease. Born in Brooklyn, New York on October 15, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Knowlton.
As a wife of a Navy man, she resided in various states in the country eventually settling in Connecticut. She graduated from public high school in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Mrs. Perry was employed by the Tolland County Sheriffs Department, retiring in 2007. When she resided in Meriden, she was a very active member of St. Rose of Lima Church. June made it her life mission to feed the needy and promote silliness.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela J. Perry; her four sons, Michael Perry, Frank and his wife Kelley Perry, Victor and his wife Julie Perry, and Charles and his wife Amy Perry; her five grandchildren, Michael Perry, Timothy Perry, Ariel Perry, Spencer Perry and Melody Perry; one great-grandson, Macauley Chubbuck; three sisters, Annette, Dorothy and Eileen; and MANY nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Victor E. Perry Jr.; her sister, Mary; and her brothers, Jimmy and Charlie.
Family and friends are invited to call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450, on Thursday, July 17th from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 18th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center St., Meriden, CT 06450. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be at a later date.
