Russell J. Styles - It is with much sadness in announcing the passing of Russell J. Styles of Wallingford, Connecticut on August 28, 2018.

Russell was born on November 19, 1926, in New York State and lived and worked in many cities there for over 50 years using his engineering background. He was a US Navy Veteran. Moving to Wallingford in 1982, Russell was a founding member and original station manager of the Wallingford Public Access Association (WPAA) where he served on the board of directors, as treasurer for many years and with the cable advisory council for South Central Connecticut. Following his work with WPAA Russell served as video tech for many years with Wallingford Government Access Television. These two positions rewarded Russ with many lasting friendships. Russell was an active volunteer including the Red Cross and Masters Manna. Russell is survived by his loving, caring best friend Elizabeth Tomczuk of Meriden; his niece Lori Moody of Nebraska; and his close friends Louise Kohany and Claudia Johnson. He was predeceased by his wife Charlotte A. Styles. Grave side memorial service will be held on Thursday September 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Miskah Israel Cemetery in the Westville section of New Haven.
