Christina Marie Scott age 55 passed away on May 15, 2021 in Visalia, CA. Graveside will be Tuesday, May 24, 2021 at 10 am at Hillcrest Cemetery. She was born December 5, 1965 in Visalia, CA. She lived 50 years of her life in Porterville, CA.
She is leaving behind a family that includes partner Ronnie Stafford, 2 children Shelby Scott and Dalton Mills, one son-in-law Zachary De Vore, brothers family Mike and Lynda Bitner, and ex-husband John Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Susan Bitner and 1 Child Casey Scott.
Christy enjoyed crafts, concerts, bowling and Disneyland. She was always creating a wide variety of crafts for all the different school events like Porterville Celebrates Reading, School Graduations, and School Holidays. Christy had attend well over 100 different concert events, a few including P!NK, Kiss, Pitbull, Terry Clark, and The Dixie Chicks. She was an avid bowler who was on 3 different bowling leagues at Porterville Lanes. Christy was a giant kid at heart. She loved being able to experience the thrill of Disneyland on so many occasions and a few of her favorite attractions include Pirates of the Caribbean, Captain EO, and Main Street.
In December of 1984 Christy started her life long career with PUSD. She was an instructional aid at multiple campuses during her 37 years of service. Some of the schools include Los Robles, Monache, Olive Street, and she was last working at John J. Doyle.
Christy's perfect day would be, her starting off eating a fresh cinnamon roll on a beach with her family. Then she would do some thrift store shopping along the coast. Then she would be all done up for the amazing meet-n-greet with PINK before attending another one of her concerts.
