Fred Etcheberry
Stockton - June 21, 1933 - November 17, 2020, Fred Etcheberry was born in Reno, NV to Paul and Marie, Basque immigrants from France. Fred graduated from St. Mary's High in 1952, excelling in Baseball and Football. Drafted into the Army in 1953, spent 2 years in Korea. He worked 40 years in the wholesale grocery business retiring in 2000. Baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1980, was an Elder 35 years. He will be fondly remembered for his kind, loving, witty and humorous personality. Survived by his wife of 64 years Anna, daughter Joan Etcheberry Provencio (Robert) and Granddaughter Janae Provencio Brown (Jeff). His daughter Jana Louise died of leukemia at the age of 4 in 1962.
