Marianne was a wonderful teacher in Lincoln Unified. She was great with students needing special help. I loaned her a book I had; it was written in comic fashion on Shakespeare; it had a lot of truth in it; she said the kids loved it because of the humorous way it was written; she wore it out and bought me a new one. Wonderful lady!! Bev HOlt

Marianne was one of the first people I met when we moved to Stockton California in 1999. We met at grupe Park walking our dogs together. She was a very lovely lady and I always admired her fabulous sewing and quilting ability. I am very sorry for your loss. Gloria Blaine

Bud, Mary Ann and we shared many years of friendship through Yosemite Region Porsche Club with activities ranging from autocrossing, rallyes, tours, and dinners. They were two of the best, and Mary Ann was always the perfect hostess and mentor whenever one was needed. Our friendship continued even after we no longer took part in PCA events. Bob and I mourn their passing and will miss them both deeply. We love you, Mary Ann!

Mrs. Behrens was one of the BEST teachers I have ever had.. She was one of my teachers at Stuart Larson school. I was given so much help and love from her that I was able to get a new start in life with her teaching and encouragement. I was struggling with life at the time, she was so encouraging with unconditional love and she told me that I could turn it all around and help others if I wanted to do that. She helped me to not only graduate in 1979 but I went on to go to college and get into the field of substance abuse counseling for the last 29 years. She made a huge difference in me making different life choices that it has become one of my greatest assets in life and who I am today with helping others. I will be forever grateful to her because I was one that changed my course in life due to her teaching, love and support. Lovingly - Shelly Laack (Bennett)
