Dr.Neyman was my pediatrician in the early 1970´s. My mother always spoke highly of Dr.Neyman and how she made a house call when my mother was unable to bring me into her office. She was an excellent doctor and an amazing person. May she continue to rest in peace

Paula and I were on house staff at Bronx Municipal[Jacobi ] Hospital and on faculty at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in th 1950's and 60's.
She was true"mensch"; an awesome intellectual and as sweet a human being as you could find.
She was my 3 childrens Pediatrician until they outgrew Pediatrics.
A role model for a younger generation of students and embodiment
of what it means to be a"doctor".
Inspite of the horrors of growing up in the Shoah [or maybe because of it] her equanimity calmed anxious parents and children alike.
They don't make doctors like Paula anymore-more is the shame.
She will be missed by all who knew her.

I remember Dr Newman from her practice in the Bronx. She was doctor to my first two children. Very attentive never rushing you. Always listening to a new young mothers concerns. One time that stands out was my first daughter had strep throat and would not take her meds. I was at witts end feeling so frustrated. She met me at hier office after business hours to administer a penicillin shot for my daughter. She was dressed in a tennis outfit. And I thought what a wonderful doctor to do this for me. May she Rest In Peace. She will not be forgotten. That daughter is now 39. God bless her.
