Carol Kitzaro
August 20, 1923 - April 1, 2021
Murrells Inlet, SC - Formerly of Goshen, NY
Carol Kitzaro went to be with her Lord at the age of 97 on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at home in Murrells Inlet, SC, with her family by her side. She previously resided in Goshen, NY.
Carol was born August 20, 1923, in Wyszkow, Poland, and was raised in a convent from age 2 to 12. She was a kind, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She always had a smile and hug for everyone. She was the type of person that would give you the shirt off her back or the food from her mouth. Carol loved to bake and cook, especially her "world famous" pierogies. She also enjoyed going to Mass, making Roseries, watching Days of Our Lives, bingo and her birds. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Carol loved spending time with her family and friends; she will be missed by all that knew her.
Carol was predeceased by her husband, Walter; mother, Olga Dietrich; sister, Mary Canton and son-in-law, Philip Sanfilippo.
She is survived by her daughters: Loraine Cipriani, Mary Sanfilippo, Diane Cappella and husband Lou, son: Richard Numbers and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A sincere thank you goes to Father Ed Fitzgerald and the nurses who attended to our mother: Lydia, Amy, Laura, Lauren and Lisa.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to make memorial donations in Carol's name to: St. Michael Building fund 542 Cypress Ave. Murrells Inlet, SC. 29576
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 15 at St. Michael Catholic Church.
