Phyllis Lee Davis
November 22, 1935 - February 10, 2021
Middletown, NY
Mrs. Phyllis Lee Davis, known affectionately as " Sweetie" or "Mema", daughter of late Corwin and Getrude Bertholf, was born on November 22, 1935 in Middletown, NY.
Phyllis was united in holy matrimony to William Thomas Davis on June 25, 1978. Their union of 43 years unified a blended family of eight children.
Early in life, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Family Church, where she was a dedicated member for over 30 years. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as reading The Word as well as participating in study groups, doing puzzles, and going to the movies and found joy in being there for others and the partnership she shared with her beloved husband.
She was a humble philanthropist giving to various charities and causes and was driven by her inner peace and spirituality. She embodied the proof that you don't need to call attention to yourself to have a huge impact.
On February 10th, 2021, she found her way to the Lord at the age of 85 and as it was unexpected for the family, she was well prepared for her entrance to The Throne Room.
She will be lovingly remembered by: her sister, Christina Bertholf; her daughters: Robyn Doucet, Andrea Starr, and Tara Blake; her sons: Venture White, William T. Davis, Maurice Davis and Timothy Davis; her grandchildren: Libra Harold, Bashir Folsom, Tiffani Butler, Phillip Doucet, Baker White, Marie Doucet, Marcus Butler and Velvet White; great-grandchildren: Julien White, Elias Folsom, Jovan Esparza, Josia Esparza, Juelz Harold, Zabius Butler, Ayliana Butler and a host of devoted family members and friends.
As a result of her unwavering faith and warm presence, she was loved by many. Her impact will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. It truly was an honor to know her.

So sorry to learn of my classmate (MHS 1954), Phyliss' death. Phyliss was always a very pleasant person to be around and always just sweet to everyone she met.
