ANNETTE L. WILLIAMS In Memoriam
ANNETTE L. WILLIAMS 9/25/50 ~ 4/5/18 Annette was born to Gordon and Charlene Hughart of Red Bluff, CA and was a lifelong resident of Tehama County. After graduating from RBUHS in 1968 she decided to find her path in life. As long as any one of us can remember, we remember Annette taking care of children. She decided to open a daycare from her home that she shared with her mother. Often staying open any hours that her working clients needed. She ran her daycare during the week then could be found spending Saturdays going to Redding to do a little shopping. She sure loved to shop! Sundays were saved for the Church. Annette was a devout Methodist and a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church on David Ave, where she volunteered in the Nursery and helped with Sunday school. She loved her church family dearly and the time she got to spend with them. Annette met the love of her life George S. Williams on August 4th, 1989. Loved moved swiftly for the couple and by mid- September they were engaged to be married and a date was set for December 16 that same year. From the beginning she would always say that " she knew George was the one from the moment they met. That god brought him to her to love". And that they did, married 28 years together before God called her home. Anyone that knew Annette would tell you she was loving, kind, and wore her heart on her sleeve. George will never forget her sense of humor, and mentioned you would never have a dull moment with her around. Annette loved to Crochet and would often be found spending hours making a baby blanket for anyone expecting around her. She will be missed by all that knew her. But anyone who knew Annette knows how much she missed her mother, and we know how happy she must have been walking through the gates of Heaven into her loving arms. Annette leaves behind her loving husband George S. Williams of Red Bluff, Uncle Allen & Anita Maxwell of Red Bluff, Nieces Kelly, Patti & Becky, and 5 Great Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by many members of her loving family. Grandparents Irl and Lois Maxwell, Grandma Hughart, her parents Gordon and Charlene Hughart, her younger brother Darryl Hughart, great nephew Colten, and numerous aunt and uncles. A Celebration of life is scheduled for April 27th at 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church on David Ave in Red Bluff. Open to all friends and family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the United Methodist Church Sunday school program in her memory.
