Baldemar Noe Guzman, age 65, passed away Friday December 15th, 2017 at 3:56pm unexpectedly at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Mr. Guzman is survived by his mother Maria Guzman his wife Jane Willhide, five children: Eric Noe Guzman, Ellen Marie Guzman, Noe Baldemar Guzman II, Jeremy Been, and Jennifer Cutforth. He also leave behind seven grandchildren: Ahlias Ezekial Calderon, Carmen Guzman, Noe Baldemar Guzman III, Sianna Garcia, Orion Garcia, Elijah Been, and Camelia Been. Along with seven siblings his sisters: Juanita Ruiz, Estella Perez, Oralia Alvarez, Ida Albarran and brothers: Jose Guzman, Ramon Guzman, Jesse Guzman.
Baldemar was born June 17th 1952 in Tamaliupas Mexico he then moved to California at a young age with his family. He learned at a young the discipline of hard work that made him into the strong, wise, handsome loving man he became. He joined the Marines as soon as he graduated high school in Redlands California in 1969, He served fours years as Military Police. Once he finished his service as a Marine he attended Cal State University and received his Bachelors Degree in Sociology. He worked hard and loved his career with helping those in need. Mr. Guzman was a professor at Chaffey College helping students with disabilities in wood work for 5 years. Then moved to banning California where he began working at Child Help America helping foster children in need. He moved to Virginia with his family in 1998. While living in Virginia he began working with Blue Ridge behavioral health in Roanoke, VA as a Behavioral Specialist. Baldemar loved being in the outdoors whether it be in the yard in the garden or fixing up around the house, camping, hiking, fishing, taking his wife and kids to the beach as long as he was outside. More than anything he loved his family and spending time with the ones he loved. Everyone that crossed his path whether it be his family, friends, or stranger he spread positivity and wisdom, with a warm soul he made all that surrounded him laugh. He would lift you up when you were down and taught you to work hard and never give up, he once said " You fall a thousand times you get back up a thousand times. He will be greatly missed by many.
Baldemar Noe Guzman was preceded in death by his brother Robert Raul Guzman and his father Jose Galvan Guzman. The services will be held for family and friends Thursday December 21st, 2017 at 2pm at Redlands Church of Christ, 1000 Roosevelt Rd and the burial will be at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Ca at 9:30 am on Friday December 22nd.
