She grew up in Manhattan, Kansas and attended Kansas State University earning a B.S. in Medical Technology. She worked for years at Redlands Community Hospital as the Director of the Clinical Laboratory. Margie and Leon founded Montessori in Redlands 40 years ago as young parents. Margie said, "I wanted Montessori because I wanted world peace." The family would like to invite everyone to join them to celebrate her life on Thursday, June 28th at 6 pm at the Heritage Park and Barton Schoolhouse in Redlands, California.
