Marcie was born Sept. 11, 1961, in Omaha, the daughter of Carl and Beatrice Andersen. She grew up in Omaha, graduating from Westside High School in 1979. After graduation, she moved to Dallas, Texas, for nine years returning in 1988. Upon her return, she met Mike Olson at Marcie's brother's wedding.
