Barbara,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I have fond memories of being neighbors with you and will cherish those memories for a lifetime. My two little girls are now grown and my oldest has 3 children, which is the reason I now live in Charlotte.
God Bless,

Dear Aunt Barbara, Judy, Patt, Dana, and Bud (and all the wonderful in laws and grandchildren):
My dad used to say that "life is about the people you meet along the way." How very right he was and how very blessed the Kellys were to have known Uncle Ellis and all of you. Uncle Ellis made me laugh - I never see the word "Corridor" without thinking of your ancestors - and I think Mr. Congeniality contests should be required of all golfers. I have a mental picture of my dad waiting at the pearly gates (golf ball sleeve in hand that Ellis brought to him that last day in the hospital) to escort Ellis into the presence of the Lord provided, of course, they could get past "outpolite-ing" each other as to who went first! He will be sorely missed, but never, ever forgotten.
Thoughts of all of you bring special memories of fun and laughter and growing up, and I wish with all my heart I could be there to tell you so in person. I will keep you close in thoughts and prayers; Mom and Liz will be there Tuesday and I hope to see you very soon -
Much love,
Mary Genevra

My prayers and deepest sympathies go out to the Hall family. The Colonel and I are 2nd cousins, although I have never had the pleasure of meeting him. I have a photograph, made at (great) Aunt Isabella's house with young Ellis and Rachel (I think) and other Hall's, that I have being trying to have validated for years. I was trying to find the Colonel but I was never successful. The Hall's were one of the most respected families in Yadkinville, NC. Although he has been taken from you, God has blessed you greatly.

Barbara,
One of my fondest memories of my 18 years in Greenville was spending time with you and the Col. His smile lit up the room and our work together with the Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Tournament was made even more special because you all made it so! You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Kay Getsinger
