I remember going to visit her at Michael Koury Terrace and how she told me about her life in Canada. I loved just listening to her and finding out things about her when she was younger. I wish I had spent more time with her learning more. It made me see things differently. She was my step grandmother but to me she was my grandmother not a step one. Her son raised my sister and I since we were young so to us they were family. I love and will miss you grandma Claire.

I did not know Mme. Deranleau, but I have never forgotten how beautifully she sang O Holy Night in French on Christmas Eve at St. Francis Church years ago, and have often mentioned it to others during the Christmas season. She had a lovely voice and it remains with me a lovely memory.

Martha: I am so sorry for your loss. After all these years, I still remember your Dad and Mom working at Metz. They will always be one of my special memories. We saw them every week, when we took the elevator up or down or paid our utilities bills on the main floor. Such a special couple, diminutive in size, but giants in this world.
