Dr. Joos was my very first teacher in Baron Byng High School more than 50 years ago. I am truly pleased to learn of his subsequent successes and truly saddened by his passing.

I am saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Joos. He was my Latin teacher at Northmount High School in the 1960s. He was one of those teachers whom one never forgets---Latin came alive under his instruction.

Dear Veronica and family,
Your father was a remarkable man and I wish I had had the opportunity to meet him on a sunny day at the lake. You and your extended family are in our prayers.
