Peacefully, at McGarrell Place on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, Peggy Maria (Marks) Przewieda in her 86th year.
Beloved wife of Walter Przewieda. Cherished mother of Dawna, Ted (Theresa) and Mark (Terri). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Tiffany, Tanya, Tricia (Matt), Marc, Mitchell, Kristie, Lucas and great-grandson Noah. Peggy will also be sadly missed by her best friend Eleanore (Lola) Dudek. Predeceased by her first born son Tadziu (1954), her daughter Dana (1952), and her siblings Staszek, Janek, Ignac, Zygmunt, Czeslaw, Frania, Stefania and Czeslawa.
Peggy was a founding member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish and a longstanding member of the Catholic Women’s league and the Polish Combatants Association. Peggy will always be remembered as a warm, caring and loving woman. We love you forever Mama and Babcia.
Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St. on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. Prayers Friday at 8:00 p.m. A heartfelt Thank You to the staff at McGarrell Place for their wonderful care and compassion.
