James Carmon Obituary
CARMON James T. Carmon was born in 1930 in South Dakota to Walter and Florence Carmon. He passed away last week in Loveland, CO. His grandfather homesteaded at Spirit Lake, SD, where he grew up. His family farmed there through the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression. He served in the Army and later married Eileen Burns, with whom he had four sons. Later in life, Jim was self-employed and he and Eileen also cared for foster children with special needs. He was logical, patient, practical, and accepting of everyone. He lived independently until the very end of his life, and he will be dearly missed by many. "Our family is losing a legend...he turned the world upside down." He is preceded in death by his son, Dennis, and is survived by his sons Ron, Mike, and Tom. Services will be held at the Loveland LaQuinta Inn on Dec 11th at 11am.
