Samuel Brown Jr (Bud) passed away peacefully in Oklahoma City, OK on Jan 30 2018 at the age of 80.
Samuel Brown Jr is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Brown (Williams) who lives in Oklahoma City, and daughter, Anita Jo Skinner; son-in-law, Daniel Skinner, Abilene and son, James Wesley Brown live in Oklahoma City, Ok. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Elizabeth Ann Stieben, lives in Dennison, Tx, and Cindy Kay Farley, Abilene, Tx, two brothers, Billy Glen Brown and Donald Brown, reside in Abilene, Tx. Survived by 2 grandkids, Kaitlynn Dawn Weum, and husband Joshua Weum, reside in Rapid City, SD, and Lacy Elizabeth Weum reside in Oklahoma City, Ok.
Samuel Brown Jr was born on January 11 1938 in Bradshaw, TX to Samuel Wesley Lee Brown and Anna Bell Brown(Young). He graduated from Abilene High School in 1956. He married his wife Mary Elizabeth Williams in1969. After moving to Abilene, Tx he began his career working for Sears, Lankfords, before ending his career as Supervisor for the Laundry at Hendrick Medical Center, where he worked for 30 years.
Samuel Brown Jr was a dedicated individual who loved his family and was passionate about not missing any birthdays and dedicated in reading God's word everyday. He was dedicated member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Norman, OK, and former member of Wyndrock Missionary Baptist Church in Abilene, Tx.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 2:00PM, February 10, 2018 at Wyndrock Missionary Baptist Church in Abilene, Tx. Bro Ernie Kight will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Samuel Brown Jr's life. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Angel Care of OKC, hospital staff at Southwest Integris, and his Doctors here in OKC for the dedication to health of Samuel Brown Jr.
