June 04, 2017
Terence McCreary Sr., 70, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 peacefully at home after a 10 year battle with cancer.
The greatest source of pride for Terry was his family. He leaves his wife of 8 years, Julie (Miller) McCreary; his sister, Valory Fallek; his son, Terence McCreary Jr. (Amanda); his daughter, Shannon Jeffrey (Wayne); six grandchildren (Jesstine 26, Jacob 23 (Rachel), Alyssa 22, Brandon 21, Trinity 20, Aleea Skye 5); good friend Bob Woolley; other family and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Mike McCreary; and his wife of 40 years, Carol McCreary.
Born in Ogden UT, he spent his youth in San Bruno, CA, the son of Kenneth Wayne and Ila Lee (Lofgren) Fallek; he was a long time resident of Reno, moving here at the age of 15.
Terry graduated from Wooster High School in 1964 and began his 40+ year career as a master auto mechanic. He ran several repair shops and owned PDQ Shell in Reno for over 30 years. He was dedicated to his business and providing excellent customer service, meeting many of his lifelong friends at work.
He had a passion for many activities; he was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapshooter, and he enjoyed restoring cars and SCCA sports car racing. He was a Hall of Fame member of the Pacific Trapshooting Assn and long time member of the Reno Corvettes Club.
A funeral service will be held June 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Mortuary 425 Stoker Ave, Reno; with private burial. Reception to immediately follow. The family respectfully requests in honor of Terry's wishes, that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Nevada Humane Society.

Memories are so wonderful .... MEMORIES with Terry for well over 50 years back to the days with Mike ( his brother ) and Oval Chassis Research . I was only 4 months older than Terry so we shared
many many hobbies and interests . We were both Corvette Collectors however his were always way better than mine .... We shared Racing for over 50
years and at that I was able to make it my life long business .... Who would have ever thought when I moved to Reno in 1999 that Terry was my neighbor here in Golden Valley. GOD SPEED TERRY .... Your smile is emblazoned on my memory as your TRADEMARK from God .... GOD SPEED . ( Richard Davis Sr / Reno , Nevada ( [email protected] )

My condolences to Terry's family.
I shot trap a lot in the 1980's and Terry referred me to a pilot who had given him a P51 mustang ride.
I got a ride an it was the ride of my life!
thanks again,Terry!
