Cletis Ledel Leatherman
Mesa, AZ - Cletis Ledel Leatherman, age 92, passed away on October 9th after a brief illness. Mr. Leatherman is survived by his wife of 73 years, Effie and their (2) children - Steve and Kathy. He leaves behind (4) grandchildren (Wayne Mandeville, Matt Leatherman, Blake Leatherman and Kristin Green) as well as (3) great grandchildren (Courtney Mandeville, Caitlynn Mandeville and Callie Mandeville). Mr. Leatherman was a WWII veteran where he served as a part of the 11th Airborne Division and stationed in Japan. Until he retired, Clete worked 35 years as a brakeman/conductor for the Southern Pacific Railroad in Sparks, NV. The funeral service was held on October 11th at the Mariposa Gardens with a private burial at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
