Cynthia Edwards Abasta
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy on December 15, 2020 after a lengthy illness and complications due to pneumonia. She was born on July 16, 1969, the youngest of five siblings to Crystal and Red Edwards of Reno. She lived her entire life in the house built by her grandfather in the 1950's, until her passing. She was pre-deceseased by her parents, and her brother, David Edwards, and is survived by her only son Ashton James ( A.J.) Abasta; her beloved Robby Lawson; sisters, Brenda (Tom) Milani; Cheryl, and brother Dan (Terry); numerous uncles, nieces, great nieces and cousins; the Lawson family, and many friends.
Cindy was a graduate of Sparks High School in 1987 and proceeded to work her whole life in logistics. She was an avid bowler, could rip a rack, and held the title of Women's State Record holder for high series for 20 years. She enjoyed outdoor camping, golfing, and adored her puppies. She had accepted Christ as her savior and attended church services at Victory Christian Fellowship. She will be buried at Masonic Gardens in Reno.
