Dail was a true gentleman and was always kind and friendly whenever we had the opportunity to see him while visiting with Vickie and Reggie. Reggie respected him and so did we. Our hearts are heavy and sad to hear of his passing. Much love goes out to Vickie and her siblings.

He was the cornerstone for my life a guide post and compass. Our Lord has called him Home. It never
would have been enough time. I grew up loving Our Nevada History, Thank you E Clampus Vitus! Loving my Country and the Men & Women who serve. I enjoyed time with the Eagles with Dad, & many an Event & stories of ECV adventures. A whole is in my heart & my world.

I got to meet Dale through my husband’s Eagle events in Virginia City. I enjoyed visiting with him at the monthly dinners, our hot dog sales and last year when he helped with the ghost tours. He generously contributed to our yearly spaghetti feeds for the Veterans by making sure we had enough pasta. I missed the last couple dinners and I regret that—didn’t realize that it was my last chance to see a good friend.

Dail was a friend of mine for more than 50 years. He and I were both Noble Grand Humbugs in 1970..Dail with the Julie Bulette chapter and I with the Chief Truckee chapter. I last saw him at Washoe Lake in 2011 at a Clamper function, but we kept in touch regularly by email up until his passing. My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

I met Dail many years ago during a Clamper Doins and quickly became friends. An incredible person who's friendship I considered a high honor. If we happened to be at the same function whether it be Clampers or Eagles we would always get a chance to talk and share a few laughs. My deepest thoughts and sympathy to his family and all who were fortunate enough to have their lives touched by Dail.
