William ( Billy ) Clifford Elkins Jr.

Billy was born and raised in San Diego Ca. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy and traveled the Pacific and Indian Oceans.

He moved to Reno in 1989 to be near family. He was a Plumber, Master Cabinet Maker and Electronics Technician throughout his life.

Billy is survived by his Mother and Stepfather, Richard and Lenora Williamson of Fernley, sisters Debra Elkins and Laurie Alford of Reno and brother Richard Elkins of Mammoth Ca.; a loving niece, Shana Love and her two children Robert William and Taylor Marie of San Diego Ca.

A private family ceremony was held, and, as per his wishes, his ashes will be sent into space.

Billy was a generous and loving soul, who will be dearly missed by family and friends.
