Olga Wilson Obituary
Olga Wilson

Oct. 20, 1919

Jul. 17, 2014

Olga went from Horden, England near the coal pits, to London in the World War II blitz, from charming Guildford in lovely Surrey in the south, to the cold of Eastern Canada in the West, then Santa Barbara in the sun, through Utah on the way, and on to Reno for most of the rest. She only ever wanted one little house in one little town with all her family about. A gardener in her heart, a singer in her soul, an English cook of delight, always doing her part, she knitted and she sewed and created a precious and lovely legacy of hand-made art.

Olga got so much more; her courage took her to London from the north, where her beauty found her that charming Billie, for better or for worse. At age 47 her dedication completed her dream to become a Vocational nurse.

A devoted Mother of two, Grandmother of twelve, her great grandkids number 27. Always beautiful, ever loyal, enthusiastic and fun; she loved to party at the dance! She loved to travel and trailer and visit England but wouldn't leave us if ever given the chance.

It took 68 years of love and marriage to fill a life so full of adventures, family, friends and fun. For the last 5 1/2 years she was adored by her children and caretakers in Roseville's California sun. Her spirit has dwindled and her time is done...she and Bill are dancing somewhere until all is done.

Olga is preceded in death by her husband William Kendal Wilson and is survived by her two adoring children, Barbara Johnson and her spouse Duane and their 6 children and five grandchildren; and Peter Wilson and his spouse, Vanessa, and their 6 children and 22 grandchildren.

We welcome all her friends to celebrate Olga's life at 2pm on July 26th at the Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary, 2155 Kietzke Lane, Reno, NV 89502...service at 3PM.

Remembrances can be made to Pine Creek Care Center Activities Dept, 1139 Cirby Way, Roseville, CA 95661.
