Elva June Robison Eldridge

Elva June Robison Eldridge died November 15, 2014, in Ely,Nevada. She was 93.

Elva was born September 7, 1921, at Aurum (Spring Valley), Nevada, to Lloyd and Edith Robison. She attended East Ely Grade School, graduated from White Pine High School as valedictorian in 1938, and attended University of Nevada in Reno.

She married Delbert D. Eldridge on November 3, 1939, in Ely. They raised their family at the Eight Mile Ranch in Spring Valley. She loved to read, work crossword puzzles, use her computer, listen to music, dance, garden, cook, sew, and travel. She was an avid SF Giants baseball fan. Spending time with her family was her greatest enjoyment.

Elva is survived by sons: Mike (Debbie Underwood), Dennis (Mary), Robert and Gordon; daughter: Betty (Bill) Thiessen; daughter-in-law Cozette; sister-in-law Maddi Robison; 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Delbert; brother Howard; infant son George; son Brent; daughter Mary Edith; daughters-in-law Janet, Nancy, Linda and Barbara; granddaughter Sharon; and great granddaughter Savannah, and great grandson, Brian.

Family and friends viewing will be at Mountain Vista Chapel, Friday, November 21, 2014, 6-8 p.m.

Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2014, 10 a.m. at the Bristlecone Convention Center. Pot luck lunch will follow the program. Bring your favorite side dish.

Burial will be in the Eldridge Family Cemetery in North Spring Valley at 2 P.M.
